Types Of Fire Door
From composite and timber to steel fire doors, we are qualified to fit every type of fire door on the market. When it comes to composite fire doors, you will more often than not find them in mostly residential developments, such as high-rise flats. Conversely, timber and steel fire doors are found in commercial settings, often when additional protection is required.
Qualifications
All our employees at J&D Carpentry have recognised CSCS cards for their trade. In addition to experience in fire door installation, the team here are also familiar with asbestos awareness, first aid, manual handling and working at height. We also have Safe Contractor and Constructionline Gold accreditations.
Servicing
As well as fitting fire doors for local companies and industries in East Anglia, we also service and maintain them. To do this, we have to familiarise ourselves with the latest UK fire regulations (which, of course, has changed in recent years, prompted by recommendations from the Fatal Accident Inquiry into the Grenfell disaster).
