J&D Carpentry, we specialise in fire door installation in Norwich. These are doors that are fitted to be 100 per cent effective in the event of a fire. 

We can survey and inspect any fire door – whether in a residential, commercial, industrial or public setting – and tell you what action needs to be taken to secure it. Not only that, but we will show you via photographs on a digital survey we carry out for all our customers.

As BM Trada Q-Mark accredited fitters, we can look after and fit both timber and steel fire doors. The latter are often used when additional security and durability is required. In the case of timber doors, these can be produced either from hardwood or softer woods. 

They can also be designed to your specifications. That means painted or laminated, veneered or factory sprayed. In some cases, the fire doors can be uPVC clad (this often occurs in hospital settings for hygiene purposes).

Our composite doors are often chosen for residential settings, such as apartment blocks. Again, these can be altered to suit the specific location.
